EUROPRO Vertical Climb is a fundraising event where you climb up the stairs of the One Riverside Drive West Building stairwell (13 floors), to raise money for local neuroscience programs at Windsor Regional Hospital. The event will take place on Sunday, January 21, 2018 where participants can either run/walk the stairwells.

The One Riverside Drive West Building consists of thirteen flights of stairs that during the Vertical Climb anyone ages twelve and up can run/walk up multiple times. Every thirteen flights of stairs is equivalent to climbing one round of the Vertical Climb.

If you want to challenge yourself and run/walk seven rounds of the Vertical Climb, you will have climbed the same amount of stairs in the CN Tower. If you really want to challenge yourself, you can aim for twelve rounds of the Vertical Climb which is equivalent to climbing up all of the stairs in the Burj Khalifa, which is the tallest building in the world.

Any challenge is a good challenge. If you are someone who can only take a few steps, challenge yourself to 5 or even 10. Just take it one step at a time!

This event is a great way for the community to not only come together to help their local neuroscience program but, you can also get some great exercise in the process! More information about the Vertical Climb can be found at www.verticalclimb.ca.

Hope to see you there!
