Dream Climb 2016- Step Up Your Game!

A reminder that Windsor/Essex Hospitals Foundation will host the 2nd Dream Climb 2016 event, supporting the Neurosciences Program at Windsor Regional Hospital.

Date:          Saturday, January, 16 – 10:00am to 4:00pm – Competitive Climb

Date:          Sunday, January 17 - 10am to 4:00pm - Fun Climb (Individual and Team Climbers)

Location:   Chrysler Building, 1 Riverside Drive West, Windsor (Main Floor)

Dream Climb is a fundraising event that invites the community to participate in a run/walk of the 13 floor stairway within the Chrysler Building, managed by Dream Management.

Competitive Climb

Saturday – January 16, 2016

Registration Opens:    8:00 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.

Individual Climbers:    10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Team Timed:            1:00 pm – 3:30 p.m.


Fun Climb

Sunday – January 17, 2016

Registration Opens:    8:00 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.

Individual Climbers:    10 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Kidi Climb:                12:20 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.

Team Climbers:         1:30 pm – 4:00 p.m.


The Competitive Climb involves teams completing as many climbs on the stairway with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes awarded. A team is defined as a group of 2 to 4 members. Teams will have 2.5 hours to complete as many climbs of the 13 floors as possible with best team winning a prize.

 The Kids Climb will have parents and children climb between the 1st and 3rd stairway floors.

The Neurosciences Program at Windsor Regional Hospital – Ouellette Campus provides 24/7/365 days a year, complex spine care for trauma, cancer and degenerative diseases.  The Program is part of the Level 1 trauma service and routinely treats patients with acquired brain injuries.  Of all trauma causes which are brought to the ER, 50% involve brain injury.  The program also cares for brain tumour and stroke patients.

“As a surgeon, I felt I had a responsibility to my patients and the community, about my health and made a personal commitment to get in better shape,” stated Dr. Dante Morassutti, Neurosurgeon and Chief of Neurosciences.
