The Patient Representatives work to support the patient and their family during your stay or visit to the hospital.
The Patient Representatives exist to strengthen, personalize and enhance the relationships among patients, their families and the health care team.
The Patient Representatives provide a way to ensure that conflicts may be resolved in a manner that supports the patients, family members and staff members
The Patient Representatives act as an unbiased resource for patients, clients, residents and families when dealing with services delivered at any campus of Windsor Regional Hospital.
The Patient Representatives are available to assist with any issues dealing with the delivery of services at the Metropolitan Campus, Ouellette Campus and the Windsor Regional Cancer Program. Any patient, client, resident, family or staff can request the services of the Patient Representatives to assist with problem solving, advocating and will meet with you to discuss your issue.
Patient Representative's Goals
To provide patients and families with an opportunity to express feeling about their experiences. This includes concerns, suggestions, complaints and compliments.
To provide a way that conflicts may be resolved in a manner that supports the patients, family members and staff members.
To improve the experience of our patients.
To collect quantitative and qualitative data on patient satisfaction which will be used to identify quality improvement projects.
