Since its establishment in the fall of 2006, the committee has taken inventory of some existing corporate initiatives and some specific to individual departments. At its quarterly meetings, it has reviewed several strategies already initiated in a few program areas and assisted to ensure their continuation, and assist with their formal adoption. Generally, the process of review and assistance is taking a “life span” approach across the Hospital’s numerous programs.
Departments of the Hospital are welcome to forward questions to the committee in respect to diversity initiatives already in existence.
