W.E. Care for Kids...Really Care!

Windsor, ON.  The Windsor Essex Cares For Kids Foundation, or commonly known as W.E. Care For Kids have raised approximately $7 million, since being established 20 years ago.  Their goal annually is to raise funds to assist children and adolescents with medical equipment and other needs that help the patient and family.   Some of their milestones have been to raise millions for a dedicated Paediatric Operating Room, providing a Home at the Family Learning Place and raising thousands of dollars for the Ronald McDonald House Windsor.

Annually, they announce donations to various organizations and tomorrow, representatives from W.E. Care For Kids will make a cheque presentation of $154,902.08 to the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation, going toward medical equipment in the Family Birthing Centre, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Paediatrics and Operating Room.

Above their annual giving to Windsor Regional Hospital for 2017, they have also pledged an additional $99,000 for a Mobile C-Arm Mini View Diagnostic Imaging Machine.

Richard Vennettilli, President, Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation will be on hand to accept the cheque and thank W.E. Care For Kids for their continued generosity.
