An Urgent Request For the Urgent Care Centre

WINDSOR, ON. This message is urgent in the fact that, the Windsor-Essex community has less than one week to register and take part in the Run for Windsor, hosted by The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, along with partnerships with the City of Windsor and Windsor Regional Hospital.

The Run for Windsor takes place on Saturday, May 13 beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the Windsor Riverfront Festival Plaza, offering participants an opportunity to support the future Windsor Regional Hospital Urgent Care Centre by walking or running in the 1K, 5K or Family Group event.  Go to to register.  

Anyone can take part, whether you are a seasoned runner, casual runner or simply looking for a casual jog or walk with family and friends.   Run for Windsor organizers have pledged long term to raise up to $500,000 for the WRH Urgent Care Centre (to be built on the former Grace site).

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at in Windsor has a long tradition of serving the Windsor-Essex community.  Their motto of, ‘Love for All Hatred for None’ has instilled a spirit of serving humanity not just in Windsor, but across all chapters in Canada.
