Secretary, Cardiopulmonary (Part Time)


Job Summary 

Reporting to the Manager, Cardiopulmonary or designate, the Secretary is responsible for the reception and the preparation of the requisition order forms prior to the examination of the patient; booking of inpatient and outpatient examinations, filing and maintenance of patient records. Requests from physicians and other institutions are handled on a daily basis. General office work in the department e.g. records, correspondence and filing. The Secretary complies with the Occupational Health and Safety standards for the hospital and is proactive in promoting a safe work environment.
