Visiting Hours
Our visiting hours are 12 Noon until 8 pm every day. If you have family or friends that wish to visit outside of these hours, please discuss with your Nurse. The Malden Park building is closed for security purposes at 10 pm every night and opened at 6 am every morning. If you come to the building when it is locked, there is an intercom at the front door which will connect you with the Security desk.

Physicians
When you are admitted to a unit in CCC you will be under the care of one primary Physician. Your Physician will visit at least once a week. An on-call Physician is available to the Nursing staff by telephone for any questions or concerns that may arise between visits. If you move to a different unit in CCC your Physician will also change, but the visiting schedule and availability are the same.

Nursing
Professional Nursing care is provided on a 24 hour a day basis. A Nurse will be assigned to assist with your care, and other Nursing staff will also assist you if your Nurse is not immediately available. Your assigned Nurse will change from day to day and shift to shift.

Our unit is staffed on three shifts; Day shift is from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Evening shift is from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and Night shift is from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Staff exchanges information between shifts to ensure continuity of care.

A Charge Nurse is also available on some units, weekdays, from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, if you have any concerns that cannot be addressed by other staff.
