Our Purpose

The Pre Admission Clinic provides a comprehensive program that will prepare you emotionally and physically for your surgery.

Our team consists of RN’s, Physiotherapists, Discharge Planners, EKG Technicians, Laboratory Technicians, Anaesthetists and Phaarmacy Technicians.

Our staff will explain to you:

  1. How to prepare for your operation
  2. Begin to develop individualized care plans
  3. Arrange for community support if required after discharge
  4. Explain our Pain Management Program

Once the surgeon has confirmed your date of surgery, the Pre Admission booking clerk will make the necessary arrangements for your preassessment visit. If you do not require lab work, EKG or an anaesthetic medical consult, a telephone interview can be arranged.
