Pillow Cases Bring Smiles to Paediatric Patients

Wilma Noordam, Coordinator of the ConKerrCancer Chatham chapter, recently visited the paediatric oncology department with some of her volunteers to drop off 50 handmade pillow cases.

The group visits the hospital a few times throughout the year to bring pillow cases to children receiving cancer treatment. The joy that the cases bring to the children make their efforts worthwhile. In addition to Windsor Regional Hospital, the chapter also donates to London Health Sciences Centre and the Chatham Health Alliance.

ConKerrCancer has chapters in 120 cities with a mission to provide smiles to children with life-changing illnesses to make them feel special.
