Youngest Philanthropist to Donate to Windsor Regional Hospital

Windsor Regional Hospital was the proud recipient of a very generous donation. Isaac Newton, yes, little 5 year old Isaac Newton recently visited Windsor Regional Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to present $450.00 raised on behalf of his fifth (5th) birthday.

“Once I described a little about the NICU, it was something he said he wanted to do and instead of receiving a lot of presents, he wanted money in lieu of gifts to give to the hospital” stated mother, Sarah Newton. When asked about the donation, Isaac replied "it is for the sick babies".

The NICU at the Met Campus was recently approved for funding to increase the number of isolettes from 14 to 20 in total. Windsor Regional Hospital awaits an announcement from the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care to officially recognize the NICU as a full Level III after years of being a Modified Level III NICU.

Thank you Isaac for your support!
